The Devils After Me

 (Real time post Tues Dec 11) Lost my new 64g iphone 5s on my run today - ugghhhh!  I had two phones with me  - my one i was listening to music on and my real new phone since i thought it'd be smart to not run off with no way to communicate.  The phone fell out at some point and was not to be found.  This is a gut punch  - financially, safety/communication wise, and just generally maddening losing something.  Find my iphone couldn't find it, but can erase it.  Getting a new sim/phone in china not so easy. We have to retrieve my passport that is with an agent processing other things and a bunch of other steps.  Bummer dude.  This is a good day to sing an old family favorite tune from the movie "Crooklyn" - 123 the devils after me. 456 He's always throwing sticks. 789 he misses every time. hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah amen.  It's an inside joke with my sisters...  we sing this when things are just sucking. This is one of those times I remind myself that i'm ok, my children are ok, and keep things in perspective.
