Who Are the People In Your Neighborhood

On Day 2 in the house, Day 4 in country I decided to take advantage of having Ahwa around and went for a run by myself. I planned to just be gone about a half hour - good chance to see how the boys did with her and give me a moment to myself.  I decided to do a little exploring.

Along the way I saw some interesting things like:

"Boogers" - a place for Soul/R&B/Blues/Reggae/Funk/Brazilian and More!
Tai Chi by some Chinese elders

The lighthouse at the end of the pier

Good ole milk on a shelf - can't say I've missed it...

I ended up about 3 miles which was great.  It was my first good run since getting a respiratory infection in November before we moved.

Stan did a full day at work.  In the afternoon the boys and I went to a little restaurant Stan had showed me that does fresh juices and smoothies.  The boys had some kind of berry concoction and I had freshly juiced mango, ginger, lemon and pineapple - yum!

The boys and I took solid naps too -still working through the jet lag.

Ahwa prepared a delicious meal for us  -yay!

And for those of you who were wondering - Cole is still enjoying General Conference - although he has cut back due to travel circumstances.

Always reverent during prayers - especially for conference

  1. Still fascinating! I feel for you in the phone saga. Yes, God is good and looks out for His children.

Even though I have traveled around the world, I've not done China so this is all very interesting to me. Keep up the good work!

My Mom flew in last night and is at my sister's . She will be here for 10 days. Uncle Herbert, whom you met, is driving here from NH. I spoke to him a little while ago, He is in Tucson, AZ. The Lord has looked upon him with favor as the weather has been horrendous in many parts of the country but he only encountered a little rain in Mississippi.

My father will drive over early next week. I am trying not to get stressed with fixing Christmas dinner and having house guests.

Merry Christmas to you, Stan, Cole and Kenney!!! Hugs and love!
